Wrong-way crash in south Portland leaves 1 dead, 1 injured

PORTLAND, OR – One person was killed and another was rushed to the hospital following a wrong-way crash on I-5 in south Portland last night.

According to KATU, the head-on collision occurred at about 11:30 p.m. just south of the exit to Mcadam Avenue.

The driver responsible for the crash was transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition. The driver of the vehicle that was struck suffered fatal injuries.
