PORTLAND, OR – Police say a pedestrian was seriously injured when they were struck by a vehicle near Emanuel Hospital this morning.

According to a report by PDX Traffic, the crash took place just before 11 a.m. along North Kerby Avenue, just west of the hospital.

The events surrounding the incident are unclear at this time.

Reports suggest the pedestrian was seriously injured in the crash. Their identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
