BAY CITY, OR – A portland woman was killed and three others were hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash on the Oregon coast yesterday.
According to a report by the Oregonian, 26-year-old Anthony Ronald Cuarteros was driving a silver Subaru Impreza north on US-101 south of Bay City when he lost control for unknown reasons.
The vehicle skidded off the roadway and into a drainage ditch, where it traveled over 200 feet before coming to a stop.
One passenger in the Subaru, 23-year-old Janette Gaudalupe Medina, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Cuarteros was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
Two other passengers were hospitalized with minor injuries. Their identities are being withheld at this time.
