PORTLAND, OR – The woman who was seriously injured when she was hit by multiple vehicles on I-84 last Friday has died.

According to a report by the Portland Police Bureau, 37-year-old Carrie Lynn Simons, was struck after getting out of her disabled vehicle near Northeast 122nd Avenue.

Simons was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries on Monday.

It is unclear if the drivers involved in the crash will face any charges at this time.
