PORTLAND, OR – Commuters heading into downtown Portland faced delays resulting from a collision in the Vista Ridge Tunnels on Thursday morning.
According to DPX Traffic, the crash occurred at about 7:25 a.m. in the eastbound tunnel along US-26.

The cause of the crash is not mentioned in the report.
Traffic was halted in the tunnel while crews worked to clear the wreckage, causing significant rush-hour delays. Vehicles began to get by slowly by 7:40 a.m.
