PORTLAND, OR – A man was killed when his vehilce collided with a semi-tractor that was being towed along I-5 early this morning.

According to a report by KOIN, the crash took place at about 1:50 a.m. wen 79-year-old Michael Elliott’s Chrysler PT Cruiser crashed into the Volvo semi-tractor.

Elliott was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The tow truck driver, 26-year-old Walker Farnham, was unhurt.

The precise location of the accident is not mentioned in the report.
