SWEET HOME, OR – A man was taken to the hospital after a collision on Main Street in Sweet home on Monday.

According to a report by The New Era News, the crash took place when the driver of a Nissan sped through the red light at 15th Street and collided with a Chevrolet sedan.

The driver of the sedan, 64-year-old Stevana Russell, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The woman in the Nissan was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
