TROUTDALE, OR – A man was killed last Thursday when he was hit by a vehicle in the Troutdale area, KXL reports.

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office says 59-year-old James Colasanti was crossing 257th Avenue near 28th Street when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle.

Investigators believed Colasanti was not walking inside a designated crosswalk when the incident occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene. It is unclear if they will face any charges at this time.
