RIDGEFIELD, WA – Two people were rushed to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash on I-5 just north of Ridgefield late Monday night.
According to The Columbian, the driver of a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta crashed into the concrete median after attempting to pass a tractor-trailer and losing control. The vehilce then rolled an unknown number of times, coming to rest upright.
Both occupants, 42-year-old Sean Holiday and 33-year-old Moriah Schaffer, both of Vancouver, were taken to a nearby hospital in serious conditions.
Holiday is expected to face a number of charges in connection to the crash including vehicular assault and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
