Kamini earned her Paralegal Certificate from Portland Community College in 2025.
She brings five years of experience as a case manager in federal workers’ compensation, where she built a strong foundation in the legal field and developed a passion for client advocacy. Her interest in law began as a file clerk for a probate and estate planning firm.
She later gained experience as a legal assistant for a defense firm representing insurance companies.
She is dedicated to helping others and brings a diverse background, including hands-on work in animal sanctuaries caring for birds, tigers, chimpanzees, and orangutans. She thrived for years as an auction clerk in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. She is also a performing arts high school graduate who studied theater.
Outside of the office, Kamini enjoys gardening, fishing, hunting, foraging, and rockhounding.
