Vice President/Litigation Paralegal
Mrs. Rizk provides “behind the scenes” support for trial, arbitration and mediation. The trial lawyers she has worked with recognize and appreciate her work ethic, efficiency and intuition. Helping everyday, deserving people realize justice is her life’s work. She has over a decade of personal injury trial support experience and has worked at several of Portland’s most well known law firms. Mrs. Rizk is familiar with the medical billing process. She communicates regularly with medical providers to help clients avoid having outstanding medical bills going into collections. She also works with the medical providers to negotiate outstanding balances to allow a favorable outcome for all involved.
The legal profession has interested her early on, starting from participating on the debate team in high school. Mrs. Rizk obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Portland Community College and she reminds the University of Oregon Law School Graduates that PCC’s football team is undefeated. Jill is a member of both Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and Oregon Paralegal Association.
Jill moved to Portland, Oregon in 1997 and considers it home. On the weekends, she spends her time outdoors, skiing, mountain biking, and windsurfing. She is married to Richard Rizk and they have two cats, Mr. Wiggins and Lady Justice. Part of her incentive of joining Rizk Law is Rich’s promise of giving Jill a dog named Wrigley.
