GRESHAM, OR – A pedestrian was killed last night when they were hit by a vehicle in the Gresham area.

According to KATU, the victim was struck while walking in the area of Southwest Highland Drive and Southwest 11th Street.

The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Impairment is not believed to be a factor at this time.
