PORTLAND, OR – Motorists in southwest Portland faced significant delays resulting from a collision near I-5 this morning.

According to PDX Traffic, the crash occurred at about 9:43 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the roadway near the OR-99 West interchange.

It is unclear at this time what led up to the crash, or how many vehicles were involved.

Delays were reported in the area going back to the I-5 interchange for some time following the crash. Traffic began to flow again shortly after 10 a.m.
