AMITY, OR – A collision shut down a busy highway intersection east of Amity this morning.

According to a report by PDX Traffic, the crash occurred at about 9:30 a.m. at the Bellevue- Hopewell Highway intersection.

The cause of the crash is not mentioned in the report. However, the intersection was blocked for over an hour while crews worked to clear the scene.
