23-year-old man killed in single-vehicle crash on Gaffin Rd.

PORTLAND, OR – A man was killed early Sunday morning when his vehicle crashed into a tree near Salem.

According to a report by KOIN, the crash occurred when 23-year-old Salomon Leyva-Ramirez failed to negotiate a bend in the 5700 block of Gaffin Road, causing his vehicle to skid off the roadway and slam into a tree.

Leyva-Ramirez was pronounced dead a the scene of the crash. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
